"I can't imagine going anywhere else."

For at least 15 years, and several dogs, we have only had outstanding experiences with everyone at Pfister. I can't imagine going anywhere else. Excellent and compassionate care, every visit. We have had to say goodbye several times and they always have been understanding and empathetic. We won't go anywhere else with our dogs.

I’ve used Pfister since 1996 for five dogs over the years for treatments, boarding, and euthanasia. The staff is incredibly friendly and compassionate. I don’t have a specific vet that I requested and have seen all of them. Each one is amazing as are the vet techs and boarding staff. When it was time to say goodbye to two of my pups last year, we were ushered into a private room which was more like someone’s comfortable living room with lights dimmed and not some sterile exam room. We were given all the time we needed to say goodbye and Dr. Pfister was very kind. A candle was lit on the front desk during this time in remembrance and to let incoming patients know that someone was grieving in the next room which was such a thoughtful gesture. We were given our dog’s footprints on paper as well as a little vial of their hair to take with us. I wouldn’t take my fur babies anywhere else.

Pfister Animal Hospital is fantastic. We have had a great experience there with a variety of issues and pets. I’ve found their techs to be kind and very helpful and the vets some of the best that we have worked with (I’ve had pets for 25 years so have worked with many). Dr. Pfister and Dr. Freson are my favorites though I haven’t had a bad experience with any of the others. We have been through new kitten and puppy visits and end of life visits and all in between. I highly recommend them!

"Wonderfully amazing, compassionate, caring, and gentle staff."

Very accommodating with schedules, very easy to make appointments, very efficient and smooth experiences every time I go, and wonderfully amazing, compassionate, caring, and gentle staff. I've been coming here for a couple years now and have never had a bad experience. These guys really genuinely care; the doctors and vet techs and even front staff are all such amazing people!

"Pfister Animal Hospital is amazing!"

Pfister Animal Hospital is amazing! We were new patients and they got our dog in same day (within an hour) because he was constantly throwing up, they made us feel comfortable and took great care of our pup. So thankful for them!

This place is extremely professional. I get harassed by vets because I have an English bulldog and I’m not rich. So I can’t drop $700 every month for the vet. This place did not judge and found a less expensive treatment plan for my boy without making me feel guilty. I highly recommend this vet.

"The office is very clean and everyone is friendly."

They are wonderful. They took my numerous daily phone calls and consoled me when my boxer was diagnosed with a brain tumor and dying. Diane gave me her work schedule and told me to call and talk to her anytime. I called them crying hysterically daily until he passed away. Not once did they seem irritated or rush me off the phone. There might be places that are cheaper but their customer service is excellent. The office is very clean and everyone is friendly. You get what you pay for and at Pfister it's exceptional service.

"At the end, they helped Lucy and me in the final moments of our time together."

I wanted to thank all those who helped us at Pfister Animal Hospital on Cincinnati Dayton Road in West Chester. Our little dog Lucy had been living with an enlarged heart for a while and was taking medicine. In time the medicine was just not enough and she went into rapid decline. The staff at Pfister's from the guy at the front desk who worked quickly to get us emergency appointments and had real compassion when the final visit was scheduled; the Vet Tech who showed professionalism and care for Lucy and the Doctors who took time to listen and explain what the situation was and at the end helped Lucy and me in the final moments of our time together.
